| Bob is the broker-owner of Robert G. Castles, P.A., a small real estate and property management company, and is chairman of the board of First Home Bank. Bob was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He first moved to the Florida Keys in 1962 and then to Seminole in 1970. He attended Clemson University in Clemson, S.C., earning a B.S. degree. He then spent three interesting years in the U.S. Army, two with the 45th Field Hospital in Italy, and one with the 199th Infantry Brigade in Viet Nam. Bob is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Seminole, and was a founding director of the Seminole Bank and First Home Bank. In 2006, he had the honor of being elected Mr. Seminole. He has served on the City's Recreation Board, was on the last Charter Review Board, on numerous Chamber committees, and coached youth soccer for over 15 years. He currently serves on the City's Personnel Advisory Board and the Chamber's Land Acquisition and Joint-Use Building Committee. Bob is married to Lorena, his bride of 40 years. They have two daughters and a son; all married. They have three grandchildren. Bob thanks Seminole for being a great place to live, work, and most importantly raise a family. |
