| Born in Clearwater, Dr. Claude D. McMullen is a fifth-generation Pinellas County native. His mother and grandmother were born in Seminole. Dr. McMullen attended St. Petersburg Junior College, University of Florida, University of South Florida & the Southern College of Optometry. With a B.S. and O.D., he is a member of the Pinellas Optometric Society, the Florida Optometric Association & the American Optometric Association. Dr. McMullen has remained in his current location for over 35 years specializing in Primary Eyecare, Contact Lenses, Fashion Eyewear and the Latest Lens Technology. He is the Founding Director of Seminole Federal Savings Bank (Seminole Bank) - Secretary, Founding Director of First Home Bank - Secretary, Pinellas County Optometric Association President, 1988-1989, Rotary Club of Seminole President 1975, Greater Seminole Area Chamber of Commerce President 1983, Greater Seminole Area Chamber of Commerce Director 2000-2002 and Secretary 2001-02 He had the title of Mr. Seminole in 1984. Dr. McMullen is married to Sue McMullen and they have two children: Jason of Salisbury, NC; and Tiffany, of Seminole, FL. They also have twin grandchildren, Jackson and Chloe. |
