| Dr. James Olliver is the Provost (Chief Operating Officer) of St. Petersburg College's Seminole Campus. He also oversees the Electronic Campus, Video Services, and Web and Instructional Technologies Services departments. Dr. Olliver has over 30 years of experience in a variety of higher education leadership positions in New York, Pennsylvania, Indiana, North Carolina and Florida. Immediately prior to joining the staff at SPC in 1989, he served as Executive Vice President at Pfeiffer University in North Carolina. Dr. Olliver received his Bachelors degree in philosophy from the State University of New York College at Buffalo, and his Masters and Ph.D. in higher education administration from Florida State University. He resides in Seminole with his wife, Shelia. They have three daughters, two married and living out-of-state, and their youngest living in Orlando. |
