to the Seminole Chamber’s Board of Directors for 2012 and all the award winners:

The new Board of Directors was inducted by Terry Collier at the Chamber’s annual banquet on Jan. 21 at the Wine Cellar. Taking the oath of office were incoming Chair Gary Scarsbrook, Chair-elect Nancy Giles, Treasurer Dr. James Olliver, Secretary Jacob Valintine, Past Chair Mike McQuilkin and Board members Victor Adamo, Dan Berard, Phil Crow, Jamie Giamonna, Michael Lurie, Diane Luttmann and Laverne Welch.

Chairman Gary Scarsbrook is joined by his wife Barbara and mother Flo. The table decorations made by Marty Mohn and Bill Miller were a compliment to Gary’s love of race cars and his theme, “Get on the Fast Track to Success!”

Steve Zazzaro, was named Merit Award winner for his year’s of dedication to the Seminole Chamber. Steve, owner/operator of PBS Computers, has donated his time and talent, serving on the Board and as the “IT guy” since 2000.
The Seminole franchise is owned by Gary and Sandra Malanowksi. They were out of town and couldn’t attend the banquet, but in their stead, Marty Maddox (last year’s recipient) reminded all to “Eat More Chicken!”

Sen. Dennis L. Jones was presented the Seminole Chamber’s most prestigious award from last year’s recipient Harold Vardy
The Seminole Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers to assist with clerical duties (data entry, answering the phone, greeting visitors) and also with our upcoming golf tournament and holiday night parade. Those interested should contact Gretchen C. Wells at 392-3245.
